CLIENT: BEAST COAST, PRO ERA RECORDS

"Rap City" was a music video television program that originally aired on BET in the late 90s/early 2000s. A big part of the program consisted of (legendary) rappers freestyle rapping straight to microphone in an iconic basement setting.

For a series of promotional social pieces created for Beast Coast’s upcoming debut album release (05/24/2019) we flew in the original host of BET”s “Rap City”, Big Tigger, from Atlanta, GA to help us recreate our very own “Rap City” basement session as well as an iconic “Basement Interview”.

For an added twist and additional content, we also re-created a satirical talk show titled “LSD25.”

This was a fun project that allowed me to get creative with a great team. Reading comments on how people already think this is the "best hip hop moment of 2019" and how much joy and nostalgia this brought to Rap City fans everywhere - that's pretty cool to me!

I produced, styled, designed across 3 sets.
